Patient Transport
Since 2014, we've been extending our services to the residents of Male' City, offering effective ambulance services tailored for the densely populated Greater Male' Area. With support from Singapore Red Cross and International Committee of the Red Cross(ICRC), our trained volunteers equipped with First Aid and ergonomic moving and lifting skills ensure safe transportation, particularly for elderly patients and emergency transfers. MRC charges a nominal fee to ensure the sustainability of the crucial services.
How is Patient Transport Different from Ambulance Service:
Bed to Bed Service: Unlike conventional ambulance services, we ensure seamless assistance from the patient's bed to the destination bed, ensuring comfort and continuity of care.
Volunteers trained on ergonomic moving and lifting support: Our volunteers are trained in ergonomic techniques for moving and lifting patients with specialized equipment, minimizing any discomfort or risk during transportation.
Compassionate care throughout the journey: We prioritize the dignity and well-being of our patients, providing compassionate care and support at every step of the journey.
